NABH Accreditation Programme to AYUSH Hospitals & Associations

As you are aware, National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), a constituent board of Quality Council of India, has been set up by the Government of India to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organizations.

Presently, it is offering accreditation in the areas of Hospitals, Small Health Care Organisations Blood Banks and Transfusion Services, Primary Health Care Centres/Community Health Care Centres, Wellness Centres and Medical Imaging Services, AYUSH Hospitals.

The Accreditation Programme for AYUSH Hospitals has been developed in association with the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is a voluntary programme and the Accreditation Standards provide framework for quality assurance and quality improvement for the AYUSH hospitals. The standards focus on all aspects of service delivery like patients rights and education, infection control practices, trained and experienced staff, infrastructure and environment safety.
